Discovery Club: All Things Paper
Saturday 29th April, 1-4pm
The humble sheet of paper. Write words on it and it becomes part of a story. Splash paint on it and it could become a masterpiece. Such unassuming potential. So we decided to celebrate this unsung hero by doing a workshop on all things paper. We're going to be making origami sculptures, amazing paper fliers, Japanese water balloons/lanterns and more. All this from just a few sheets of regular old paper. You'll never look at it the same way again.

Discovery Club: Ye Olde Toys
Saturday 27th May, 1-4pm
Take a trip back in time with us to a simpler time when there was no such thing as iPads or mobile phones, or hoverboards. There wasn't even T.V! How did children entertain themselves? I hear you scream in utter horror at the thoughts of it. Well join us and we'll show you how to make some ye olde world gadgets and toys that got the blood pumping back in yesteryear, like your very own kaleidascope and the original moving picture machine the zoetrope. Loads of fun and no electricity required.
