Children’s Open Art Studio

Opening hours: Tues – Sat, 10am – 5.30pm

Pottery Studio: Tuesdays & Thursdays, 10am – 5.30pm & Saturdays 2pm – 5.30pm

To coincide with the first exhibition of children’s art entitled How I See the World, Wexford Arts Centre’s upper gallery will function as an art studio for children throughout the summer months.  The studio will have a range of material available to budding artists of all ages.  Parents will be able to partake in the activities or keep an eye on their children whilst relaxing with a refreshment from D’lush Café  in our designated seating areas. 

On scheduled days, children accompanied with an adult, will have the opportunity to paint their own pottery.  With a choice of items such as plates, bowls, mugs and figurines, children can spend a fun filled hour or two painting with friends and family.  We provide brushes, paints, sponges, stamps and tuition to get you started, and will take the piece to glaze and fire and have your masterpiece ready for collection within a week.

Paint Your Own Pot Parties can also be organised for birthdays or other special occasions!  All age groups welcome. The pottery workshop is run in association with Party Ceramics.

Pottery prices start from Eur10.00.  Collection of finished pottery can be arranged once glazed.
