As part of the National Gallery of Irelands' Teacher and Schools Programme there will be a Study Day for Leaving Cert Art Students on Wednesday 24th March.  The session lasts for approximately three and a half hours and will cover four topics from the Leaving Certificate curriculum. The Study Day is intended as a revision tool for students backed up by visual examples from national and local collections.  The topics for the series have been chosen to reflect the strengths of the collections of the National Gallery and National Museum of Ireland.  The topics covered include: The Renaissance, Impressionism to Abstraction, Early Irish Art, and Modern Irish Art.
