If you are looking for a birthday celebration with a difference, why not book a birthday party at Wexford Arts Centre? Our parties give children a chance to be creative and explore the galleries in a fun and unique way that everyone will remember.
Birthday parties take place on selected Saturday afternoons from 3pm to 5pm.
During this time, the party group will be led in a craft activity, which you choose when booking, and materials will be provided, and the children can take home what they make. We can take up to 12 children per party. We provide a party leader and the materials.

The Art of Sewing Course: Level 1 & 2

Dates: Every Wednesday from 24th March – 5th May, 2009
With expert instruction and hands on advice, The Art of Sewing aims to make sewing fun and easy. Participants who successfully complete this course will develop the practical skills which will enable them to sew simple projects and gain an understanding of the importance of safety when using the sewing machine. Participants of all levels of experience can join this course.

Introduction to Casting and Model Making - 11yrs+

The objective of this workshop is to introduce adults and children to basic techniques in casting and modeling. The technical process of plaster mold-making will be demonstrated using found objects, such as toys, kitchen/garden objects etc. Participants will be shown how to measure and mix plaster and will then be given the opportunity to make their own mold. It will be then be demonstrated how to cast into these molds using three different techniques - paper-mache, wax and latex.

Art Attack Easter Camp
