Young Inklings! Young Inklings! Did you know that the real Little Manfred is in the Imperial War Museum in London. The wooden Dachshund was made out of cast-off apple boxes by a German prisoner of war. The museum doesn’t know who made this dog, but it was one of the 137,000 Germans that helped to reconstruct Britain after the second world war.
