Please note that this show will be brought to you via Zoom. CÁCA MILIS SAMHAIN CABARET, 31 October 2020 @ 8pm Following two sell-out ZOOM cabaret events, The Cáca Milis Cabaret will rock on with a special, spooky-themed Online Night of the Arts for Halloween. There’ll be a Celtic New Year blessing from storyteller Deirdre Wadding; classic cabaret from MC and hostess Helena Mulkerns; a video from Dublin composer Josh Johnston and 40s era songs from Wexford divas, The Ivy Sisters. Web-travelling in from Michigan and New York respectively are folk singer Enda Reilly and New York based dancer, Darrah Carr. Award-winning author June Caldwell, whose cutting edge debut novel Room Little Darker wowed critics, beams in from Dublin. Watch out for new poetry from Sinéad O’Reilly and Seán Kiely, as featured in the upcoming lockdown anthology Caesura. The Cabaret’s short Irish film is Strangers In The Night by cult horror film director Conor McMahon (Stiches). And in a new multi-media Cabaret segment, some social media madness from influencer Ruth Codd, who seeks to break down barriers surrounding the subjects of disability and mental health in Ireland. All this through the technical expertise and artistic framework of the Wexford Arts Centre – Ireland’s oldest regional arts centre. This is a ZOOM event, with all proceeds going towards the artists and the work of the centre, now more important than ever. www.CacaMilis.org *This event is hosted on Zoom.
