WEXFORD UKE FEST – Fancy Dress/Group Uke off Competition: 2pm – 3.45pm With a special afternoon performance by RUGS Ukulele Group 4.15 – 5pm Come show us what your Ukulele Group is made of! Pick a Song, add a few Costumes, throw in Performance  and your group stands a chance of winning a fantastic prize! Group Places are limited, so places for the Fancy Dress/ Group Uke Off must be pre-registered with Wexford Uke Fest before booking for this event. Once registration has taken place you will receive a reference number which will then allow you to book your groups place on stage.Early booking is advised. Maximum 10 people per group. Please note that the afternoon event, includes a performance by RUGS Ukulele Group. These have included St. Patrick's Day Festival, Forever Young, Summer Sounds at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Fuinneamh, and Funtropolis as well as numerous ukulele festivals including Ukulele Hooley, Galway Uke Fest and Longford Uke Fest. We have been invited to perform in The Dáil as part of Culture Night and their Christmas Tree lighting events, and have set the tone at numerous corporate parties with our upbeat set. Our loyal fan base enjoy our foot-stomping tunes across a broad range of artists including Snow Patrol, Elton John & Dua Lipa, The Killers, Kodaline, Baccara, Bananarama, Abba, The Beatles & Queen. Our upbeat, energetic performances bring the audience on a musical adventure with us – sitting still is not an option!
