GAVAN RING – TENOR Gavan Ring will be remembered by Wexford audiences for his hugely entertaining sell-out summer concert in St Iberius church in 2019. With his engaging concert personality and magnificent tenor voice he brings an air of sheer enjoyment to his concert programme, featuring the most popular of operatic highlights and classics from the musicals and the Irish songbook. Gavan has performed at the BBC Proms with the London Symphony Orchestra and Lucerne Festival under Sir Simon Rattle, the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment at the Royal Festival Hall, and several recital appearances at the Wigmore Hall London. He has sung principal roles with Glyndbourne Opera, Wexford Festival Opera, Welsh National Opera and Opera Holland Park. SINÉAD CAMPBELL-WALLACE – SOPRANO Sinéad Campbell-Wallace’s coming home for Christmas presents Wexford concert goers with a fantastic opportunity to hear this internationally acclaimed soprano at the height of her performing career. Sinéad is now in huge demand in Europe’s opera houses, so this is a rare opportunity to hear her in the intimate surroundings of St Iberius Church on the Main Street in Wexford. Sinéad started out on her singing career as a pupil of the revered singing teacher – Sr. Mary Walsh in Loreto School Wexford and has gone on to take the operatic world by storm, especially in these last few years .
