Large Scale Willow Lantern Workshop

Large-scale Lantern Workshops – Thursday 26th Oct 3-5pm & Friday 27th Oct 3-5pm – Suitable for ages 8+Join artist Caoimhe Dunn and help create a unique event for Wexford Town, During these workshops participants will get the chance to be involved in the construction of giant willow creations for a lantern procession to mark this Halloween. Taking inspiration from Irish Halloween folklore & traditions, the group will create giant willow constructions – possibly taking the form of a 'Púca' and the 'Bow' (Wexford's own name for the Banshee) – that will form part of a Halloween procession accompanied by Bloco Garman Drummers.
