Wexford Arts Centre in association with Music Generation brings you Summer Sessions featuring new young singer songwriters between ages of 13-18 hosted by Rachel Grace former PwcSpotlight recipient at Wexford Arts Centre. Rachel Grace is a nineteen-year-old singer/songwriter from Wexford, Ireland. Her music is a melting pot of soul, pop and folk with a particular focus on heartfelt and honest lyric writing. She released her first EP in 2018 and has since spent the last couple of years playing Ireland’s most favourite venues and festivals including Electric Picnic, Whelans and The National Opera House Wexford. Karen Dunbar Karen Alice Dunbar is a singer-songwriter & music educator based in Wexford. She has a BA in Drama & Theatre Studies and Music from UCC & An Advanced Diploma in Professional Songwriting from BIMM Dublin. She teaches Singing, Ukulele & Songwriting with Music Generation Wexford and runs Gorey School of Pop where she teaches Piano, Guitar, Ukulele and Music Theory. Karen has taken several Trips to Nashville to pursue her love of country music & songwriting, and has also toured the Greek Islands. In 2013 she took part in RTE show "THE HIT", where her song "Waiting for your Love", was selected for consideration by Mundy. She released her debut EP Marionette in 2017 produced by the late, great Gavin Ralston, who brought her songs to life in a way she never imagined. She feels incredibly lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Gavin and his unbelievable talent. She appeared on Hector's lockdown show "HECTOR ANSEO", on TG4 in June this year – also available on playback – having a chat to Hector & performing "I'm on Fire", by Springsteen. She also released two singles in 2020, “Almost”, and “In Her Shoes”, available on all streaming platforms. Gayle Murphy Gayle Murphy is a guitar and ukulele teacher and also a Music Educator for Music Generation Wexford. She has also played in bands over the years and has experience with live music and performing. Please read our Covid Protocol before visiting us.
