The Theatre
With its grand cornice, ornate mouldings, and flexible layout options, the Theatre provides a breath-taking backdrop for your wedding ceremony. Perfect for couples seeking a distinctive space, it offers:
- Capacity: Up to 70 guests with a central aisle or 120 guests in full theatre mode.
- Unique Feature: In full theatre mode, the space includes two side aisles, ideal for couples who wish to make simultaneous entrances for a truly memorable moment.
- Lighting: Beautiful natural light from the large Georgian windows, complemented by our theatre lighting rig for added ambience.
- Customisable Layout: opt for a traditional stage set-up or create a larger, open floor plan by removing the stage.

This elegant room offers a warm and inviting atmosphere, perfect for smaller gatherings. Featuring stunning natural light from Georgian windows and gallery lighting, this space is ideal for couples who value charm and elegance.

What’s Included with Your Venue Rental
Every wedding booked includes:
- Seating for the couple and up to 120 guests’ theatre style or 70 in non-fixed seating. Our standard chairs are chrome and grey.
- Couples are welcome to supply their own seating and covers for a personalised touch.
- Ceremony table dressed in a white tablecloth
- Podium for readers to share meaningful words
- High-Quality PA system and microphones
- Staff on-site during your rental period
- Projector and screen option for scenic imagery at additional cost
Post-Ceremony Celebrations
Many couples choose to host a post-ceremony reception at Wexford Arts Centre, perfect for drinks and canapés.
Bring Your Own Caterers: You are welcome to arrange your own catering for post-ceremony refreshments. Let us know in advance so we can coordinate any set-up requirements.

Additional Information
Public Liability Insurance
Public liability insurance is required for all bookings, with a minimum cover of €6.5 million. Expect to pay approximately €50-150 for a single-event policy. We recommend contacting your broker or Event Insure for assistance.

To make your wedding planning as smooth as possible, we can provide a list of recommended suppliers including celebrants, florists, photographers, decorators, and caterers. These trusted professionals can help bring your vision to life.
