The exhibition will be opened officially on Saturday 18th October at 12.30pm by Gus Mabelson, ceramic artist and former director of the Ceramic Skills Course, run for many years, by the Design and Crafts Council Ireland.


To coincide with Wexford Opera Festival, Mary Gallagher will curate Bravura 2025 in Wexford Arts Centre (Billy Colfer Room on First Floor). This exhibition will present work by ten of Ireland’s top makers.
Bravura 2025 will feature ceramics by Etain Hickey and Katharina Treml, glass by Andrea Spencer and Lucinda Robertson, work in wood by Alan Meredith,
furniture by Knut Klimmek, jewellery by Eimear Conyard, work in metal by Cecilia Moore and Hugo Byrne and tapestries by Terry Dunne.

For 11 years, Mary Gallagher ran the Blue Egg Gallery, just around the corner from the Arts Centre. Each October, to coincide with the Wexford Opera Festival,
she organised an exhibition to show off, to a wide audience, the best of applied art by Irish and international makers.
Bravura 2024 will run from Saturday 18th October to Sunday 2nd November.
The opening hours are:
10am to 5pm, Monday to Sunday.
10am – 4pm on Saturday
11am – 4pm on Sunday.
