Wexford Camera Club presents
Surface Tension
A solo photography exhibition by D.J. Morris
Wednesday, 28th January – Tuesday, 3rd March 2026
D’Lush Cafe, Wexford Arts Centre
This exhibition shows a series of high-speed photographs created using water drop collision photography. In this process, drops of water are released one after another with precise timing, allowing a falling drop to collide with the splash from a previous impact.

For a brief moment, this collision creates shapes and structures that are normally too fast to see. These forms are shaped by surface tension, gravity, motion, viscosity, displacement, added pigment, and an abundance of patience. They exist for only a fraction of a second before disappearing.
Surface Tension will run in D’Lush Cafe from Wednesday 28th January – 3rd March 2026.
Wexford Arts Centre is supported by the Arts Council and Wexford County Council.
