Scottish singer Eddi Reader "MBE, returns after sell out concert last year -  known both for her work with "Fairground Attraction” and for an enduring solo career,  which in 2003 saw her showcase the works of " Scotland's national  poet, "Robert Burns.

Honey-voiced Eddi Reader has been around several blocks, musically speaking. Oddly enough, Reader jumped right into her performing career in the early '80s by travelling throughout Europe with a circus troupe.

When she returned she joined the punk  band  Gang of Four as a backing singer after leaving the band she started working as a session vocalist in London, singing with such acts as Eurythmics and Alison Moyet. Then she found her place in the spotlight with Fairground Attraction. The band's debut, First of a Million Kisses, hit the British charts in 1988, along with the single "Perfect." Reader gained a good bit of recognition, both critical and popular, and was able to launch her solo career from that platform. With an incredible voice and songs sounding  sad, soulful, strong and vulnerable. Hitting the purest of notes and her emotions and experiences amidst pretty, sparkling guitar work, strings, the wheeze of the squeezebox, warm bass and pedal-steel..

Avoid dissapointment and book early for this unique intimate concert with Eddi.
