The Wondrous Weaving of Wings

This collection aims to highlight the stunning textures, patterns and colours that mother nature has provided for our pleasure. It is the artist’s hope that it will inspire a sense of child-like awe and appreciation in the viewer and contribute in some small way to the protection and preservation of our pollinators.

All the butterflies on display were found within a three mile radius of my home and each specimen was returned to the wild after their studio sessions. The clarity and magnification of the images are maximised using a complex process of layered exposures and collage work. These exclusive silver reflective prints are produced on stunning Hahnemühle 100% cotton high-gloss metallic paper and strictly limited to 7 copies.
