Autumn Light in the Raven | Tall Ships Passing Duncannon, Alan Mahon

Alan Mahon has been taking photographs for almost forty years. He is a member of Wexford Camera Club and his main interests are ‘Street’ ‘People’ and ‘Landscape’ photography. He also has a keen interest in ‘Night’ photography.


Alan holds an Associatship Distinction with the Irish Photographic Federation (IPF) and has won numerous awards with the IPF. He has had solo exhibitions in the past and some of his work has been published in the Irish Examiner, the International Garden Photographer of the Year book and Photography Ireland.

Alan recently published a book on the coronavirus lockdown called Lockdown In An Irish Rural Community. The book is a photo documentary on how Covid-19 affected the lives people in the Piercestown/Murrintown area of County Wexford. The book is available in all bookshops in Wexford. The photos in this exhibition show different landscapes during daytime and nighttime.
