To coincide with Wexford Opera Festival, Bravura 2026, curated by Mary Gallagher, will present the work of 15 of Ireland’s top makers. The exhibition will run from Friday 16th October to Sunday 1st November in the Billy Colfer Gallery in Wexford Arts Centre.

A number of the makers will be familiar from the days of the Blue Egg Gallery; these include potters Mark Campden and Cora Cummins, glass artists Scott Benefield and Fiona Byrne, Ceadogan Rugs and print maker Susan Mannion. In addition there are a number of new artists: the weaver Agnieszka “Uisce” Jakubczyk, the embroiderer, Mary Moorkens, jewellery maker Rowena Sheen and the young Tom Windross from Waterford who is making his mark in the wood-turning world in Ireland and America.

Alongside the main exhibition, there will be an array of mugs. 13 of Ireland’s top potters will each supply 12 mugs which can be purchased and taken away immediately.

The official opening will take place on Saturday 17th October at 2pm. The guest speaker will be the wood turner and writer, Roger Bennett. All are welcome to attend.
The exhibition will run from Friday 16th October to Sunday 1st November in the Billy Colfer Gallery in Wexford Arts Centre.
