Times: 10am – 11.15pm Ages 5-7
September classes are only around the corner and we have lots of fun activities planned. Over the next six weeks as well as exploring the current exhibition Memory of a Free Festival, we will be looking at artists across the continents that are inspired by the plants and animals they share their home places with. By looking at indigenous art and story telling expressed via semi abstract, naive and naturalistic styles we will use stencilling and block printing to develop our own art, a living art responsive to our own places.
Every Saturday, children are invited on a creative journey full of colour, curiosity, and fun! We explore a wide variety of materials and art forms — from painting and drawing to collage, sculpture, and more. Together, we become art detectives, looking at exciting current exhibitions at Wexford Arts Centre and discovering both local and international artists!
With Jeni & Bríd’s playful guidance, young artists are encouraged to experiment, explore, and grow — finding their own unique creative voices while celebrating creativity!
When booking, please let us know if your child has special needs and/or requirements and we will tailor the workshop accordingly. If you would prefer to call us to discuss the same, please call Jackie or Catherine on 053 9123764.
