Legends of
international and Irish jazz are coming together for an exceptional live
performance. Melanie O’Reilly returns with her highly
popular show "Le Jazz est Revenu" , with special guest
guitarist Tommy Halferty and Derek Whyte on bass, for this very
special night celebrating French songs & songwriters in jazz and
film. Songs composed and recorded by French legends such as Michel
Le Grand, Charles Aznavour, Charles Trenet and Jacques Brel,
interwoven with other renowned performers such as Henri Salvador, and
Claude Nougaro . Melanie sings les chansons with
a jazz flavour bringing new life to songs such as “ Les Moulins de mon
Coeur/ The Windmills of your Mind” from the iconic movie “The Thomas
Crown Affair”; “I will wait for you/Je ne pourrai jamais
vivre sans toi” from Les Parapluies de Cherbourg, Le
Jazz et la Java and more. As Charles Aznavour sings: Le
