Pilgrim St

Pilgrim St – 2026 Irish Nationwide Tour Pilgrim St return in spring 2026, following an 18‑month sabbatical that’s only deepened their roots and sharpened their sound. Hailing from Co. Meath and forged in the vibrant folk scene of Navan, this seven‑piece powerhouse has built a reputation as one of Ireland’s hardest‑working and most revered bands Musical Style & Influences Deeply steeped in Appalachian bluegrass and old‑time country, Pilgrim St also weave in folk traditions from Ireland and beyond. Drawing inspiration from Hank Williams, Woody Guthrie, Bruce Springsteen’s Seeger Sessions, and Irish folk legends like The Pogues and The Saw Doctors, their sound is both authentic and electrifying Live Reputation Living up to their name, Pilgrim St have built a ferocious live reputation, performing at top-tier venues like Vicar Street and high-energy festivals including Electric PicnicThey’ve returned from every stage with rooms full of cheer, foot‑tapping crowds, and repeat bookings—classic proof of the “powerhouse live performance” they’re known for. New Chapters Their critically acclaimed debut album, Ash Into Gold Dust, and 2024 release, Folk Bones, garnered high praise for their original compositions and spirited covers, cementing their place on the Irish circuit. This pause has only recharged their creative engine, and fans can expect a rich setlist blending beloved tracks with new material. After more than a year away, Pilgrim St returns stronger than ever, with renewed energy, fresh songs, and that signature rousing spirit. They are set to traverse the country next spring, bringing the kind of live performance that turns casual listeners into die‑hard fans. Band Line‑up Peadar Farrelly (guitar/vocals) Eugene Donegan (banjo/vocals) Eoin McDonnell (mandolin/vocals) Francis McGinn (bass) Mark Lynch (dobro) Brendan Kelly (accordion/vocals) Cathal McQuaid (fiddle)
