Wizard Fruit are an acclaimed musical collective from County
Wexford, formed in 2017 by twin brothers Seán and Oisín Daly Carney. Over the
past decade, they have developed a reputation as a compelling live act,
bringing their distinctive blend of close-harmony vocals, soulful grooves and
adventurous song writing to stages across Ireland, the UK and Europe.
Their music draws from the folk, soul and blues traditions
they grew up around, while deliberately blurring the boundaries between the
contemporary and the timeless. There is a playful, dreamlike quality to their
work — at once intimate and expansive, rooted in song but unafraid to wander
into stranger territory.
Wizard Fruit have performed at some of Ireland's best-known
independent venues, including Whelan's, The Workman's Club, The Grand Social
and Sin É, alongside tours of the UK and Europe in 2023 and 2024. Following a
series of widely streamed independent singles, the band are now preparing to
release their highly anticipated debut record.
As part of their 2026 residency at Westgate Music Rehearsal
Space, Wizard Fruit will bring their developing live show to Wexford Arts
Centre for a special night of performance celebrating the next chapter of the
band's journey.
